The 2016 Ben Nevis Challenge · 18 June 2016

HopScotch provides free respite breaks for young people living in Scotland who have no other chance of a holiday. Our respite breaks take place at Ardvullin where children participate in a programme of educational and fun activities that help develop confidence, self-esteem, and social skills.

Story

Thanks for visiting our page.  Our challenge is to walk Ben Nevis (12 miles) cycle 15 miles to Loch Lochy, canoe 1.5 miles round the Loch and cycle 10 miles back to Fort William - all in 12 hours!  We would love to raise as much money as possible for HopScotch to enable some of Scotland's most vulnerable children to have a respite break at Ardvullin during 2016.  HopScotch works with young carers and women's aid groups, schools and community groups to identify children most in need.  It costs £250 for a child to spend a week at Ardvullin.  We would be very grateful for any support, however small, which would make smiles happen and may even help us work that wee bit harder!;-) Thanks so much for your support:-) Good childhood memories last a lifetime :-)
