The Dai Rees Foundation has been estabished to facilitate small projects in remote regions around the world, to provide emergency medical equipment and vital training to those who need it most. We currently have projects running in The Maldives and Nepal and hope to expand to other remote regions.

Story

For the past few years we've celebrated Dai Rees by getting together, cycling from pub to pub, telling stories and getting wasted. This year the pub bike ride seems to have been replaced by this Man V Horse race. It's a 22 mile course over rugged Welsh farm land. Some of us have trained, some of us haven't.

Dai was our friend, brother, cousin. He founded a charity that took used medical equipment to the Maldives and trained the locals how to use it (the locals are poor and haven't got much in the way of medical stuff). Dai was a paramedic and a musician. He died at the age of 30 whilst working in the Maldives, doing what he felt passionate about. Now we want to help the charity to continue it's work by asking you to pop a bit of cash into this page. We'll be back on the pub bike ride next year so take your chance whilst you can.

Thanks to all the friends and colleagues of Dai's who continue the work of the Dai Rees Foundation.
