Horsham Salvation Army's 'Be a Star in Horsham'

Be a Star in Horsham · 11 November 2021
At Christmas every year, Horsham Salvation Army helps hundreds of children, families and individuals across our district by providing them with toys, gifts and food vouchers. Last Christmas saw an increase of 75% in the numbers we helped - reaching 800 children and over 1500 individuals altogether through the Christmas Appeal alone. In addition to all the physical gifts that were so generously provided last year, those who gave through our Christmas Appeal JustGiving page contributed over £5,000 towards the £12,500 we spent meeting the need around us.
Here's how your donations could transform lives this Christmas...
£15 buys a larger gift for a child
£10 provides a voucher for a teenager to buy something of their choosing
£5 could provide a toiletries set for a mum or dad who would normally not receive anything
£20 gives a family of three the voucher to buy their Christmas meal
£30 will provide a small, medium and larger gift for a child
£50 will help towards the cost of supporting a larger family group
£100 could pay for a family of four to each receive presents and their meal on Christmas Day
Your support makes all the difference to what we can do this Christmas. No matter how small or large your financial gift this year, on behalf of those who will be the recipients this Christmas Day we'd like to say THANK YOU and God bless you for all your support
Throughout the year we work tirelessly for people in need. Homeless and hungry people, families facing hardship, victims of domestic abuse and human trafficking, people who are ill or grieving, people who are desperately lonely - we do our best to reach out to all of them with unstinting friendship and practical help, fulfilling the motto of The Salvation Army in the UK - 'Love God, Love People'
