Story
So as you may know this is my job. I love it because day in and day out I hear people talking about the amazing work the hospice did in the deepest and darkest hours of a loved ones life - things like
"my mother entered the hospice scared and in pain and died in comfort and peace - she had a good death which has kept us going"
One of our supporters who lost her husband relayed this story
"mummy, at school I am used to being the boy with glasses, the boy who likes football but not the boy whose daddy has died, when I go to the Dovetail group I feel normal again"
I could go on and on.... it is amazing and without people doing crazy stuff like this we can't provide this service. Anyway this is a case of putting my money where my mouth is so here goes.

Princess Alice Hospice provides a comprehensive range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families, so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one. It costs us £10.1 million each year to provide free, high quality specialist end of life care to tens of thousands of people with life threatening illnesses. We rely on wonderful supporters like you to help us to generate thousands of pounds through participating in events such as the Firewalk.
