It's been over 1 week since the tragic earthquake which killed thousands of people in Indonesia and misplaced many many more. 65,000 homes have been destroyed and thousands of people are in desperate need of food, water, healthcare and fuel.

One story really stood out and touched us all. There was a 17 year Muslim waitress who was trapped in the rubble for 3 whole days. Her father sat next to her for 3 whole days, feeding her, giving her water and consoling her. They had to amputate her legs in front of her father. It was so tragic

There are so many other sad stories which have affected children in particular and as a result here on HOTD we have decided to do a sponsored skydive to raise funds for the victims of Indonesia earthquake. 

Allah has given us a lot, it's time now for us to give back to the people who need it.
