Story

Team Hotwheelers would like to thank you for visiting our fundraising page.

This will be our second year taking part in the Wessex Heartbeat challenge.

Last year was a gruelling ride from Cap Frehal, near St Malo, through Brittany ending at the spectacular Mont St. Michel.

This year the ride will take us from the channel port of Caen through Normandy and down the Loire finishing somewhere near Cholet. For more detail you can look at the website www.heartbeatcyclechallenge.org.uk . We are hoping that the weather will be as good as it was last year, as the ride will be difficult enough without having to cope with wind (in the wrong direction) and rain as well!

As well as fundraising through this website, we are organising a charity auction night at at Wimborne Football Club on Saturday 16th September to raise funds for Wessex Heartbeat and the Holtwood Methodist Church Appeal. Auction items include a Helicopter ride along the coast and over the New Forest, a Chinese meal for 10 cooked in your own home with butler, an evening charter on a Sunseeker powerboat, tickets for various sporting events and other fabulous prizes. Tickets for this event are £5.00 per person and includes a buffet and disco.

Tickets available from any of the team members (contact any of us by email).

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Wessex Cardiac Trust will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor us now!

Many thanks for your support.
