Story
In 2013 I ran my first London Marathon, for the British Lung Foundation in memory of my amazing friend, Zoe. In 2019 I ran my second London Marathon, for Mind since this is a charity which has helped me through my life since I live with Type II Bi-Polar. So in 2022, here I am again taking part in this amazing event. I started fundraising in 2021 with a view to running the 2021 event, but unfortunately I incurred an injury meaning I have needed to defer to 2022. This time I'm continuing to run in the name of my Dad, Malcolm, who lived with Vascular Dementia every day but sadly died on 5th January 2022. This is such a sad illness and more research is needed to help stop this reaching more people. Dementia takes many forms, as I have learned, so if this is something important to you then I'd love it for you to donate. Much love, Howard.
