Three Peak Challenge · 19 June 2020

The Magic Moments Charity Fund is dedicated to helping children suffering life limiting illnesses and their families. We achieve this by organising magic moments, to make youngsters' dreams come true. We also donate money raised to children's hospices across the UK so they can buy essential equipment.

Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

Now you've come this far, why not take a minute and read the below to find out what Kate & Ben are taking on! :)

What is the Challenge?

The challenge, in short, will be to climb the three peaks of the UK. This will involve travelling from Lowestoft to Colchester on Friday 19th June. Immediately upon arrival, we'll jump straight into the mini-bus, taking us up to Scotland towards the first peak...

First light on Saturday 20th June, we'll start the climb of Ben Nevis which is the tallest of the three peaks we'll be tackling. Immediately after coming down from Ben Nevis, we'll then get straight back into the mini-bus and head South to the Lake District for our next challenge; Scafell Pike. We anticipate we'll finish this climb late Saturday evening / night.

It doesn't stop there though! We'll then drive through the night to Wales, and Snowdonia national park will be our next stop; to climb Snowdonia first thing Sunday morning.

All in all, we'll anticipate the challenge will be a grueling 26-hour round trip where we'll sleep and recover between the journeys of each mountain, but won't stop until we reach the end, on-top of Snowdonia!
