In memory of Karen Shadforth

Pancreatic Cancer Action is the only UK charity dedicated to saving lives through early diagnosis. Pancreatic cancer is the 5th biggest cancer killer and the 10th most common cancer in the UK. Your support means we can continue to raise awareness of the symptoms to ensure early diagnosis.

Story

Hartlepool Rugby Club has, in recent years, been involved in a number of charity bike rides, supporting causes that are raising money and awareness for the likes of multiple sclerosis, Hartlepool Hospice and leukaemia.

The club’s 2019 bike ride will be in support of Pancreatic Cancer Action in memory of Karen Shadforth, who passed away earlier this year after a short battle with this terrible illness. Twenty riders and 2 support drivers will cycle the Coast to Coast route across the weekend of 19/20/21 July. The journey will conclude at Hartlepool Rugby Club, where they will be met by family and friends to celebrate their achievement.

Please show your support for this very worthy cause, and the riders who are taking part, by making a donation. Thanks!!
