Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Despite varying degrees of acrophobia and inexperience, a group of us from HSBC are abseiling down an office building to kick off Blood Cancer Awareness month and support Cure Leukaemia.
The abseil is set to take place on Thursday 5th September, at 4pm in Brindley Place, Birmingham.
My sister, Alice, died from Acute Myeloid Leukaemia in 2012, at the age of 21. She was treated by Professor Charlie Craddock, who set up the Birmingham based charity.
We're hoping to raise £1,500, to support Cure Leukaemia fund haematology nurses who provide pioneering, and often effective treatments, to blood cancer patients.
If you want to find out more about the amazing work that they do, follow the link on this page.
