Mount Snowdon · 5 June 2019

We are a new charity based in Derby with a board of trustees who all volunteer their time, keeping overheads to a minimum. We promote awareness of ASD through events and social media and offer financial support to local autism projects through fundraising and charity donations.

Story

A team of 12 from HSBC are taking on the challenge to reach the highest point across England and Wales - Mount Snowdon.

Definitely a change in pace from sitting at our desks for the day. So what we lack in mountaineering we hope you can make up for in sponsoring our very worthy cause:

Autism now affects 1 in 59 children, nearly two-thirds of children with autism between the ages of 6 and 15 have been bullied.

An estimated one-third of people with autism are nonverbal.

Autism Awareness are the UK's largest provider of specialist autism services. Their trained staff and volunteers bring passion and expertise to the lives of 100,000 autistic people every year.
