Story

SUNDAY 27TH NOVEMBER 2016: 09.00 DEPARTURE FROM KHS

To celebrate the launch of the Duke of Edinburgh Award at Kingswood House School and the Award celebrating its 60th year, we have decided to take part in the Duke of Edinburgh Diamond Challenge.

Mr Marler, Mr Russell, Mr Cowie and Mr Hendry will be blindfolded and taken to an unknown location. We will  be dropped somewhere in Surrey with only a map and a compass. We must first figure out where we are and then find our way back to school. We must travel only on foot and must arrive back at school within 5 hours.

We will keep a video diary throughout the day which will be uploaded onto the school social media sites upon our successful (hopefully) completion!

All the money raised will go to supporting the Duke of Edinburgh Award in the local community by buying places for under privileged young people.
