Story

Hi Everyone

As most people from my way know. I have been fighting Cancer now for Most of my adult life. I've had numerous operations, Radiotherapy courses and at worst had my chin stitched to my chest for an entire week. Bad times I know (almost felt the pain again reliving that unpleasant flashback ). Earlier this year though my disease took a turn for the worst and I found out my Cancer had now spread from both my lungs into both my stomach and liver. Even when you know at some point the sucker punch will come no amount of preparation really eases the impact let me tell you. Why Weston park? Its wasn't an hard decision to make really the Hospital have looked after me for years and there entire operation is deserving of a million personal challenges.

Anyways its lucky i'm a tough hombre and rather than being upset or wallowing in self pity I decided a massive challenge of sorts was on the cards. How and why cycling I do not know because prior to me deciding to take on this beast, I hadn't rode a bike since childhood. I reckon My next CT scan will defo be on my noggin cos somethings obviously a miss!! Heres a little more detail on my challenge. On the 15th of september I plan on setting off from John o' Groats and cycling around 1000 miles to landsend. Sounds so simple? Yeah right....

So fast forward a few months whilst imagining a lycra clad rocky style training montage ( Infact dont... Sorry)  and my challenge is almost set to start. Im nervous as hell. I have no idea how my body will take the relenting pressure of cycling everyday. But I do know one thing I will not give up that isnt in my dna, Mutation is.

Finally one last mega shout out to the charity Challenge Cancer Through Adventure for fully supporting me to do this.  Doing so allows every penny donated to go to Weston Park. Thanks again guys for being a beautiful charity helping people like myself fulfill goals and dreams.

So lets try and raise a good amount for a special charity thats close to lots of peoples hearts including my own.

Thanks everyone Much Luv :)
