Ramadan Kareem
Want to join me in supporting a good cause this Ramadan?
I am raising money to provide Iftar and Suhoor to at least 100 families, that's 700 people around the world, this Ramadan.
A kind donation of £70 will feed a family of 7 with enough food this Ramadan. Whether you donate £5 or £500. Every little bit helps.
According to the UN, every 10 mins a child dies in Yemen from malnutrition (lack of food)!
One in every nine people will go to bed hungry this Ramadan. That’s over 820 million people who don’t have enough food to eat, and that’s before we consider the current food scarcity hitting people across the globe.
But this Ramadan is different than all the Ramadan’s we’ve witnessed in the past, as their chances of getting the food they urgently need, have been reduced because of coronavirus and the recession around the world.
The suffering of the poor will be greater than ever.
Coronavirus is a killer waiting outside their door, but sadly, hunger might kill them before then!
We can not set and watch them with their increased suffering without doing anything about it, so I made this pledge and we need YOU to help me to make it happen please!
We have made a pledge to raise enough funds this Ramadan to feed 100 families across 7 countries including: Bangladesh, Iraq, Pakistan, Palestine, Somalia, Syria, or Yemen with Human Appeal inshAllah.
Will YOU help us to feed them during this blessed month?
Take on at least one family, that’s £70 and encourage someone else to feed another one. This will give you the reward of feeding up to 14 people everyday in Ramadan!
Each parcel is tailored to the local country and dietary needs, but on average they contain 50 kilograms of nutritious food. Each pack contains several kilograms of staples such as
sugar
rice
flour
chickpeas
lentils
tea
milk powder
pasta.
Whoever gives food to a fasting person to break his fast, shall have his sins forgiven, and he will be saved from the Fire of Hell, and he shall have the same reward as the fasting person, without his reward being diminished at all."
