Story
Giving the gift of a voice to non-verbal children is far greater than we likely understand.
The ability to say I love you...
I need help...
Or even a question.
Recently I was introduced to an amazing local boy - The Joshie-Man. An 11-year-old who doesn’t speak, but communicates boldly using a device called a talker: speech software installed on an iPad.
Watching Joshie tap out words, jokes, even feelings—it changed something in me.
That’s when I learned about the campaign - 'Let Them Have Their Voices'.
This year to support this cause, I'll be taking on a record attempt of Mount Snowdon, as many times as possible in 30 hours. Covering over 116km+ of distance and 8600m+ of elevation.
With your support, The Joshie Man can use his inspiring efforts to support so many other children like himself in giving them their voices.
