Story
Hey, I’m Spencer, and I’m currently cycling 20,000km across Australia not just for myself, but to help others who are struggling too. Three years ago today, I overdosed. That moment changed everything for me. Year One, I was completely lost. No identity, no confidence, just surviving day by day. Year Two, I knew I needed to do something to prove to myself that my second chance at life wasn’t wasted. So I got on my bike and cycled from the UK to Athens. That ride gave me purpose. It showed me a new way to travel, and a new way to live. Year Three, Today I’m in the middle of cycling across Australia. This time, it’s not just about me anymore. I want to use this ride to help people see what’s possible, even when it feels like everything’s falling apart. I’m raising money for Two Pint Deep, a mental health charity that supports young men. They help lads face what they’re going through to look up to the problem, not down for a solution. When I overdosed, I didn’t have anything like that. I wish I did. The money raised will go directly to helping Two Pint Deep continue their work running events, offering support, and giving people the space to open up without judgment. This journey hasn’t been easy, and it still isn’t but taking that first step changed everything.
