On 23 rd September our world was turned upside when Hughie was diagnosed with Leukaemia. He is being incredibly brave and has faced it head on without any moaning. He’s had over 50 blood tests, numerous scans and trips to theatre and he’s still smiling and entertaining the staff on Ward 84. We are so proud of his positive attitude and resilience to everything that has been thrown at him. He’s our superstar. 

The support and love we have had from friends and family has been overwhelming. His year 6 school friends are all doing a 10k walk for him to raise money for the hospital. I hope you never have to experience the amazing work the hospital and staff do at RMCH, especially on ward 84, but if you do you will know how worthy this cause is.

Hughie is being treated on Ward 84 and we would love to raise funds to support the fantastic work they do every day. However we are also really keen to help make a difference to all the patients in Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital, and we wish for part of our fundraising to go towards a project that will allow the hospital to carry on the amazing work it already does.
