We are coordinating 50 teams of two (and participating ourselves) to kayak from Banbury to Oxford to raise money for Aspire. This is the equivalent of kayaking across the Channel, though with more locks (17) and less international shipping.

Aspire (www.aspireoxford.co.uk) are a fantastic Oxfordshire based charity, supporting ex-prisoners, the homeless and other vulnerable adults back into society by providing a supported work and living environment for them. Aspire is Newcore Capital's charity of the year for 2018 and 2019 and we are aiming to raise £100k over this time to assist in the funding of education, physical fitness and mental wellbeing for the people to whom Aspire provides work and shelter. These areas are very important in helping people regain their self-esteem as they get back on their feet.
