Story
Hugo was born with a condition called Anophthalmia, he was born with one eye. He is registered severely sight impaired and we are yet to fully understand what sight he has with his left eye. In addition to Anophthalmia, Hugo was also born with severe Hydrocephalus and had brain surgery at 2 days old to place a shunt, and has since been diagnosed with Global Development Delay, Epilepsy and Autism. It is so easy to focus on what Hugo CANT do in life, that we love to remind the world of what he CAN do and that's where Superhero Tri by Marvel comes in.
Hugo the Viking and his team of Superhero Sidekicks will complete a triathlon on 12th August 2023 raising funds for MACS, and showing the world what this amazing little man can and will achieve. We will be completing a swimming, cycling and a walk/run leg at Dorny Lake in Windsor and we will be joined by so many other children and adults living with disabilities and their own trusty sidekick gang.
All donations, big or small, make such a huge difference in raising awareness and supporting children, teens and adults living with a MACs condition
