Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit this JustGiving page.

Delilah (9) has set herself the challenge of 'Hula-Hooting' around the Big Hoot Ipswich 2022 art trail. She will hula-hoop for at least 10 seconds beside each of the 50 Big Hoot statues on display. This is a challenge that will be completed in phases across the summer holiday.

Delilah's funding target is based on 50p for every second of successful, consecutive hula-hooping. Hula-hooping is not something she is already good at, Delilah has been practicing to prepare for the challenge and the targets will be a real test for her.

Please support her effort, she is a very kind young lady who always looks for ways she can help others.

My name is Ken Reynolds, I work as a marketing co-ordinator for St Elizabeth Hospice. For the last 18 months I have been working on the Big Hoot Ipswich art trail that is currently live. This has seen 50 Big Hoot owl statues decorate the streets of the town for all to enjoy.

Delilah is my daughter , she has watched me work on this project all the way along. She enjoyed the previous art trails and has previously raised funds for the hospice by doing a sponsored walk. She thought very hard about how she might be able to fundraise this summer that included the art trail.

We will be sharing photos and videos of Delilah's progress through the summer. If you are able to give any amount, large or small, it will go directly to the hospice to support the much-needed services they provide in Ipswich, East Suffolk, Great Yarmouth & Waveney.
