The Hull & East Yorkshire Group of the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) Association support local people living with MND, their families and carers. They provide advice, face-to-face meetings and importantly also provide apply for financial grants to help provide adaptations to the home or improve quality of life.

There are significant numbers of people are living with this brutal disease in the Hull & East Yorkshire region. MND is a fatal, rapidly progressing disease which affects the brain and spinal cord. It attacks the nerves that control movement and eventually leaves people unable to move, communicate or breathe. It kills a third of people within a year of diagnosis and half within two years. There is no cure.

Supporting those people living with MND  and their families is now more important than ever so please help if you can.

The Group is run entirely by volunteers who give their time freely to support local people. The Group rely on donations from the public and fundraising to continue their incredible work.
