Whilst having the pleasure of your company on our special day is more than enough, we recognise that some of you would like to give a gift to celebrate our upcoming nuptials!

As you know we have been together for a while (plus the extra two years since our original wedding date!) and have everything we need in our home. The local countryside and environment are important to us, so we have setup this page. Rather than traditional gifts we are asking you to make a donation to a local environmental charity, the Heart of England Forest.

For those of you who don’t know this beautiful native broadleaf woodland, it is close to Stratford-upon-Avon in the heart of England so not far from our home and where our wedding will be taking place.

The charity’s vision is to create 30,000 acres of contiguous forest to benefit the environment, wildlife and people for hundreds of years to come. The mosaic of habitats being created helps to mitigate climate change, enables wildlife to thrive and provides a haven for people to visit to benefit their health, happiness and wellbeing. For many of us, getting outdoors has never been more important and we have found a new appreciation of the tranquillity and breathing space to be found amongst trees. As well, of course, to being an excellent way of exhausting our border collie pup, Monty!

An amazing 1.9 million trees have been planted so far. Here's an idea of what your kind donations could support:

· £5 would plant, nurture and protect a tree

· £25 would purchase a spade to be used in tree planting

· £50 would buy 10 packets of wildflower seed to plant on the pollinator pathways

· £100 would fund 10 young people with special educational needs to spend a morning volunteering in the tree nursery
