Rickshaw Run Winter 2011 · 1 January 2011 ·
What's it all about?
The Rickshaw Run is pretty simple. With no preparation and less luggage we will fly to the Indian Subcontinent and do our damnedest to force a 150cc glorified lawnmower over thousands of miles in around two weeks.
Most importantly the Rickshaw Run is about raising loads of cash for a great cause. We're aiming to raise £1500 for Frank Water- a small charity that funds sustainable, safe, clean drinking water projects in thrid world countries by installing village filtration facilities. In a world where over 4000 children die every day from a lack of clean water it is clear that help is needed. Our Rickshaw journey through India is sure to make an impact on our lives, please help us to make a positive impact on the lives of those who need it most.
Who are we?
Team Hurricane Run- two Kiwi's and a Scouser (that's someone from Liverpool) getting together for an epic journey across India. Phil, Julia and Scott are all looking forward to what is sure to be a once in a lifetime way to experience India the way it should be. Taking in every sight, smell and sound in the luxury of a Rickshaw! Follow our adventure via our website- go to http://rickshawrun11w.theadventurists.com/hurricane-run
