ODAAT Challenge 2020

ODAAT Challenge 2020 · 31 October 2020 ·
Over the years I've watched with admiration as ODAAT ("One Day At A Time") ran their phenomenal drug and alcohol quasi-residential rehabilitation programme. It began about 25 years ago and grew out of a need to help the homeless people that the sister charity, HOPE worldwide, was housing.
Then during COVID lockdown this year - with my gym closed - I bought a rowing machine.
So when ODAAT asked for volunteers to organise sponsored events I thought "why not do a half-marathon row from my bedroom?" for a worthy cause.
A half-marathon (13 miles or 20 km) row means 1h 30 mins on the rowing machine though - and a very sore bum(!) - so I'm hoping to raise **at least** £500. Please donate to a VERY worthy cause.
I'm aiming to livestream the row on Saturday 7th November - so you can check that I cover Every. Single. Mile. for yourself :)
