Hydroscand UK are part of an international family-owned business, founded in 1969 in Stockholm, providing hydraulic and industrial hoses, fittings, and fluid transfer solutions for a range of industries.

Some of the team are going to jump out of a plane and skydive to raise funds for Samaritans, our chosen charity this year. In the UK according to the Office for National Statistics, suicide is the biggest killer of young people. And the Samaritans say men aged 45 to 49 years in 2020 had the highest age-specific suicide rate (23.8 per 100,000). This is very close to home in our industry.

We would like to raise money to help support the charity and its vision “that fewer people die by suicide.”
