At The Hygiene Bank Luton and St Albans, we believe it is not right that feeling clean should be a luxury or a privilege for anyone in our society, yet many are living in poverty and cannot afford to stay clean. 

We work with so many charities looking after families in need (22,500 children in Luton alone) and we'd love to be able to give them a small pack of basics regularly.  With money we can purchase from cheaper places and a bag of 5 basic items (soap, shampoo, period pads, toothbrush and paste) can be bought for £5.  

We'd like to create 50 packs a month.  In a year that would be 600 packs (barely enough to touch the sides, we know) but maybe we could make more if we raised enough money.

We ask for money rather than actual items because we dont have any storage at the moment and this enables us to  buy what we need when we need it and make the bags to order.  Thank you so much.
