Story

Our family has been blessed so much because we received services from DDS for both #AusomeLizzie and #EllatheBean. Lizzie was diagnosed as severely autistic at 18 months, and we were told to expect to be raising a non verbal, non ambulatory child. DDS gave us 4 hours of various therapies each week, at no cost to us, and taught all of us the skills to help Lizzie become the successful 7 year old she is! Ella was also significantly delayed due to a seizure and eye disorder. She is now thriving, and no longer needs therapy, because of the dedicated staff that helped her grow. We are still in touch with several therapists, as they have become our friends. The best part? Our family is just one of many success stories. We have been participating in the Polar Bear Plunge for years, and will continue all we can do to give back to an organization that has helped us in a way we can never repay.

The sooner a child receives early intervention the better their chances are for reaching developmental milestones. This is why I want to help DDS by taking the plunge and raising these important funds. Warm your heart:DDS is a great charity that serves more than 100 infants and toddlers in their most critical years of development. Please join me in supporting DDS by donating to my fundraising page.Thank you!
