As President of Dukinfield and Stalybridge Rotary Club, Ian Cochrane, has decided to undertake a President’s Challenge which one of his colleagues has referred to as “his mad challenge”

Ian intends to not only complete the Welsh 3000 Challenge within 24 hours ( which involves completing all 3 mountain ranges in Snowdonia and includes climbing all 15 peaks over 3000 ft) but also the Yorkshire Three Peaks on the following day (24.5 miles and 5,500 ft of climbs) and then the day after being driven up to Fort William in Scotland to complete the National Three Peaks Challenge in under 24 hours ( involves climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell and Snowdon)

The monies raised from the Challenge will be used to support local good causes and beyond.
