Nepal-ease is a small charity that works directly with communities in Nepal, supporting sustainable projects identified by them. These include health, wellbeing, women's enterprise and education. We also work closely with palliative care providers improving people's access to good end of life care.

Story

I stay in touch with my brothers from volunteering in Nepal in 2009, and nearly 10 years on many of the children have now graduated from school and left the foundation and keep me updated on the key challenges they face as young adults in Nepal which Nepal-ease aims to tackle.

I have seen first hand there are some brilliant orphanages that help give children a great start in life. While these orphanages also require a lot more funding, I understand from my brothers, a key problem is that there is then very little opportunity or support for these children once they graduate and leave as young adults into the wider community. This issue has been further compounded by the devastating earthquake in 2015 which many communities are still recovering from.

Nepal-ease Charity aims to provide much-needed support by providing community grants to help improve the quality of life in their communities, and also to provide ongoing work after the earthquake to help them continue to rebuild their communities.

Thanks in advance for your support towards this important cause.

Best,

Iain
