I know you may be asking why would anyone want to run 5 marathons in 5 days?
Running has become a large part of my life and along with my family has helped me get through some very difficult times.
Losing my wife 10 years ago turned my world upside down by suddenly finding myself with 4 children to bring up on my own. Fortunately I was lucky enough to meet someone else and it is with large thanks to my partner that she introduced me to the idea of going out a couple of times a week to run.
This has definitely helped my own personal Mental Health and last year I had to watch on while my daughter struggled with hers. I feel lucky that she is still with us despite the numerous attempts to end her life. I am also very relieved that there was no apparent permanent damage caused. It saddens me so much to see people struggling with life. There is always a future.
By running for Heads On I hope this provides me the opportunity to provide a little bit of help to those who maybe currently suffering with their Mental Health and Wellbeing.

Day 1, Worthing Promenade
Day 2 Sea lane café, Marine Crescent, Worthing
Day 3 Highdown Hill
Day 4 Findon cricket club, long Furlong
Day 5, Widewater, Shoreham Beach
