Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Having been born with cracked nerves in my ears which resulted in partial hearing, I am acutely aware of some of the challenges that living with a mild sensory impairment can bring. However, given that 95% of what we learn is through our eyes and our ears, I cannot begin to imagine the challenges faced by deafblind people on a daily basis.
I would like to raise this money to aid SENSE in providing support and services that enable people who have sensory impairments or complex needs, to live fulfilling and aspirational lives, as independently as possible.
I also have opportunities for companies to buy advertising space on t-shirts that I will wear along the route (National Advertising!), please contact me if you are interested in discussing this further.
