My dad died of MND 26 years ago at the age of 52

I am now 52, in fact, at the start date of the Rickshaw Run, I will be exactly the same age as he was when he died.

MND has been in the press so much recently and how it takes people's lives in such a cruel way, and a horrific journey for family and friends to see their loved one deteriorate in front of their own eyes.

We need to find the cause, treatment and eventually a cure.
