Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. 7 years after my last marathon run, I will be running my 4th London Marathon for The Sick Children’s Trust and this time I will be dressed as her HRH The Queen! The Sick Children’s Trust is an amazing trust who support families, such as mine, when their children are hospitalised for lengthy periods. The trust provides families with a safe place to live and remain together, not far from the hospital so that they can be close to their child at all times. The best medicine by far is for a  child to have their family with them and by their side whilst undergoing life changing surgery. My marathon run and  all the hours of training runs, is dedicated to my beautiful, strong and inspirational daughter, Evie, who continues to lighten all of our lives. My 4th Marathon run is also dedicated to the memory of Mohammed Zain and Theo Towse. Please donate what you can because this trust relies on donations only to keep supporting families like mine during times of great stress and emotion - it provides us with some sense of normality and enables siblings to remain together.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity. THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART

About the charity

The Sick Children’s Trust is the charity that gives families with a seriously ill child in hospital a comfortable place to stay and a friendly ear to listen in one of our ten ‘Homes from Home’. By providing families with somewhere to stay near their child they have one less thing to worry about.
