In 2014 at the age of 59, I was diagnosed with Parkinson's and the last 5 years have been a challenge  living and working with this horrible, chronic, progressive and incurable disease. This year Mace chose Parkinson's UK as their Charity of the Year and this is an opportunity for me to participate in this walk and to raise essential funds to help fellow Parkinson sufferers and hopefully find that miracle cure or  medication that will slow down the progression of Parkinson's. During the walk I will be supported by my wife, son and his girlfriend and the family Labrador. So if I fail to finish the dog can pull me home on a stretcher !

Any amount, large or small, can really make a difference !
