Story
I was hesitant to create a fundraising page as a lot of people are struggling financially.
I am taking on the challenge of running the Dublin Marathon this year and hoping in the process to raise some money for the BUMBLEance service.
We have used the BUMBLEance for our own child Zoe when she was sick. It's an amazing service and helps transport sick and scared children to and from homes and hospitals, hospices, treatment centres, and respite centres nationwide.
If you can afford to donate €1 it would be greatly appreciated.
I never imagined this time last year starting my Health & Mental welness journey I would be taking on the Dublin Marathon but here we are.
I will be running this Marathon also in memory of my Aunt Peggy Owens whom I was very close to and unfortunately passed away. Never forgotten but always there and no doubt will help me push through this challenge.
Thanks so much
Ian
