This year, I am (almost literally) crawling to my half century, and my wife thought it would be a good idea to celebrate by doing a walk with her and some friends - 40 miles in one day.  Who can argue with that? So, in May, we are doing the Lyke Wake Walk in the North York Moors - from Osmotherley to the east coast.  If you want to know why its called what it is, then google it.  But the name is ominous.   This is going to hurt.  There is no guarantee what-so-ever that I will finish it.  So knowing there is some money hanging on it will hopefully get me through the last few miles.  Action for Children do some great work for vulnerable youngsters in the UK; so if you're able to sponsor me, I will be very grateful.
