Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I moved to Congo in 2009 to set up the Kimbilio project to support children living on the streets of Lubumbashi.  We started with nothing apart from a vision and a very willing and commited team.  The work of Kimbilio has grown we now support over 100 children each week through our 4 centres.

Kimbilio has only been able to grow in this way due to the generosity of individuals, Churches and schools who have caught the vision and given of their own time and finances.  We have no big business or charity behind us, we rely on our kind support base to keep the project going.

We do need to increase the financial income in order to continue to provide an effective and efficient service.  Please consider joining us on the Snowdon walk or sponsoring one of the other walkers.  We really appreciate all who have joined us in the past and hope that you are able to get behind us again to improve the lives of vulnerable children in D.R.Congo.
