Walk for Wards 2019 - Sheffield Hospitals Charity · 8 September 2019 ·

We help Sheffield’s hospitals, community teams and health and social care services to cover costs their NHS budgets can’t. We fund support for patients and staff, life-changing research and more, so that we can enhance care from birth to the end of life and everything in between.

Story

Hello beautiful people ( and those of you that look like you fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down ) . I'm trying to fundraise for those nice people at The Sheffield Hospitals Charity by doing a spot of Marshalling on their annual 10Km Walk for Wards event tomorrow. Now, you may be thinking ' Why don't you get off your arse and walk it as well fatty ? ' and you'd have a point but as a few of you know there's been a re occurring health issue this year requiring a large amount of time on the Haematology Wards at the Royal Hallamshire leaving the legs a tad wobbly and the barnet a little bare.  So, rather than sit  and do nowt the opportunity arose to assist others who are fundraising by completing the walk and I thought I'd have a bash at that , after all , how hard can it be to stand and point whilst repeating the words ' Go that way ' ? and its at this point I ask you to help me by donating. So please, spare what you can ( no coins, folding only ) and hit the donate button and lets see what we can raise  to help those who can help those who can't . Muchos love to you all, even you pesky Blades :-) . PS. I'll be out  for the England game later and will be more than happy to relieve you of some paper donations  or assist you in donating online should technology not be your thang...... :) .
