Last year I challenged Matt and Jason to a race. In hindsight I may have underestimated their ability to go from no running / exercise to whippet like time trials in 6 months!

As the Manchester 10k draws nearer I will have to grow wings to be competitive. Jason (despite never running on a road) is looking a comfortable favourite for victory.

We have chosen to support a local charity in our efforts for glory. The N-Gage project works across Manchester with young people who are at risk of exclusion from school and also those who are involved in anti social activities. They are not a large charity and all donations make a big difference to the services they are able to provide.
