Ian's South Downs Marathon Walk

South Downs Marathon Walk · 3 October 2020
I first heard about CAFOD from friends at my local church and have been inspired by the real and practical work CAFOD does. I became a parish volunteer to help support that work, and now ask for your support through my fundraising marathon walk.
CAFOD is part of one of the largest aid networks in the world, working with local partners to help some of the most difficult-to-reach people in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the Middle East. CAFOD and its local experts are working with communities across the world as they try to adapt and survive during this coronavirus crisis. Building on the knowledge and practical experience gained from the fight against Ebola, CAFOD and its local partners know that their ongoing work to provide clean water, hand washing facilities and training to communities in need will be critical.
CAFOD is also adapting its long-term development work to ensure that people are able to continue to earn a living, and that children can continue their education in a safe environment.
Thank you for supporting my fundraising.
