Next weekend I will spend one day cycling the island of Majorca, to raise awareness on Living Donor Kidney Transplantation. I will be supported by the inspirational world champion cyclist, sports presenter and kidney transplant recipient, Ottilie Quince.
Ottilie received her transplant from her mother, to whom the challenge will be dedicated, some 11 years ago. Ottilie’s father is also a live donor. I will be truly indebted for Ottilie's help in cycling the 312km route, involving some 5000m of ascent through the mountains. This will be a major personal challenge for me, and I need your help and support to complete it.
Kidney Research UK have kindly offered me their cycling shirt which I will be wearing on the day.
Thank you very much for helping Ottilie and I raise awareness for Living Donor Kidney Transplantation.
