Story

In February I will be travelling to Kenya to take part in the climb to the top of Mt Kilimanjero. This will take us around 8 days and involve sleeping outside every night, going through four different climate zones (the summit can be -20C) and climbing to an altitude of 5,895m where the oxygen level is 42% of that at sea level.

I am doing this because we are raising money for the Kericho maternity hospital in Kenya. This hospital for mothers and babies urgently needs help to buy new equipment and to invest in training and upgrading facilities. Whilst they do their best on average 20 babies die within 28 days of being born and there are on average 15 still born babies each month. This could be reduced dramatically if the funding was available but unfortunately it is not and so we want to help.

I have a target of £2,500 to reach but would really like to exceed this if possible and so am asking if you would please find a way to support me.

I am doing this with a great group of people who care about others. Please show your support for me and the Nishkam Challenge Team and please donate to help save lives.
