Brain Tumour Support is dedicated to providing support for patients, families and carers so that no one feels alone facing the effects of a brain tumour diagnosis. We provide individualised and specialist information, guidance and emotional support, at any point and for as long as it is needed.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

For those people who know the Sayers squad - know the last few years have been tough. Especially for my wife,  Emma.

Beautiful strong and determined. The best mum of our two amazing kids and I couldn't have wished for a better wife!!!

November 2018 - Emma was diagnosed with a Trigeminal Brain Tumour. Wow!!!! This hit us all like a truck.... March 2019, Emma went into hospital to have it operated on. The worst and best day of my life! They think they removed it all which was great news. The after effects are still with her and she has to live with this daily,  not that anyone would know.

The pre-operation diagnosis and support was great, the skill of the surgeon unquestioned. The after care and psychological support is where it all fell down. That's why I am raising funds - the impact on Emma was massive and ongoing. With little or no support after such a massive trauma, it became obvious to me there  has to be a better way of supporting people who have suffered Brain Tumours. Please help me help them....

If you know me - getting older (Quickly), slightly (questionable?) heavier than I used to be and 2 Knackered knees! So why not run a half marathon - just what the doctor said not to do 5 years ago!!!! Hey ho and off I go.....

All support and funds - Big, Small or Massive are all very welcome.

Thank you in advance.
