Vertical Rush · 25 February 2010

We exist to defend the right to a safe home and fight the devastating impact the housing emergency has on people and society. We believe that home is everything.

Story

Myself and four other elderly gentlemen will be joining a herd of competitors in rushing up the tallest building in central London - Tower 42 (Team name is 'Coalition of the Swilling')

The purpose is to raise some money for Shelter, the charity organising the event, which takes place on the 25th February 2010

The building has 42 floors and approximately 1200 steps (about 1170 more than my house!)

I understand there are other charities, Xmas and the credit crunch. Frankly I am not interested in excuses.....just cough up!

Any amount will be gratefully accepted and help homeless people in the UK, particularly young children.

please give as much as you can afford as i dont want to do the forfeit for raising the least of us 5 guys tryig to make a difference for others...
