Brain tumours kill more children and adults under the age of 40 than any other cancer. Just 1% of the national spend on cancer research has been allocated to this disease. We are a leading voice calling for support and action for research into what is called the last battleground against cancer.

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

My sister Juliet, nephew Jamie and I are raising money for Brain Tumour Research in memory of Juliet’s husband and Jamie’s Dad Nigel who died of a aggressive brain tumour a few years ago. Since then, our family have raised enough money to have two tiles placed on Brain Tumour Research walls of hope at universities where the charity funds research.  We raised £2740 for each of these tiles but are now determined to fund a third tile.

We are now walking 50k along the Thames as part of the Thames Path Challenge. It will be a beautiful walk but rather longer than we’re used to!  We have to raise at least £275 each, so please help us!

Thank you

Ian, Juliet and Jamie
