We offer free support to people with cancer and their loved ones

Story

The happy-looking man in the picture was photographed at his daughter's (Christine) and future son-in-law's (Iain) engagement party. Unfortunately the cancer that George had been diagnosed with four months' previously meant that he never got to walk his little girl down the aisle.

By the time Ian, Cat and Tony take part in the Pedal for Scotland event in September, it'll be just over four years since Ian's dad and Tony's grandad passed away.

Although George didn't make use of the services that are offered by Maggie's, it is a tremendously worthwhile cause.  They provide support for anybody who feels they need it, including those individuals who love and look after someone with cancer, people who can often feel as frightened and vulnerable as those who have actually been diagnosed with the disease. So, please dig as deep as you possibly can for this worthy cause.

Also, please feel free to send us messages of encouragement as we prepare to cycle 51 miles... eek!
