We provide bereavement support to parents & children in the West Midlands

Story

On 9th July I will be trekking 100km (62 miles) through the Peak District continuously. We aim to complete the trek in 28 hours without stopping to sleep (and after a night camping beforehand!) As well as covering 100km, the route includes 2450m climbing - it is the Peak District, after all.

I'm taking on the challenge to raise money for Edward's Trust, an incredible organisation which supports bereaved families (and families preparing for a bereavement) in the West Midlands. This includes children who have lost a parent or sibling, and parents and grandparents who have lost a child or grandchild (of any age). They support people bereaved through any cause, including illness, suicide, accidents and violence. All of their work is supported by donations as they receive no NHS funding. Find out more about their work here: https://edwardstrust.org.uk/
