THANK YOU!!

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I have taken what you might call a sabbatical from exercise.  Unless you count the semi-regular badminton session with the chaps from the office, though I tend to then collect a battered sausage and chips on the way home from this.  Counterproductive?  Not sure.....

So rather than ease myself back into the world of fitness, this year I applied to two events, assuming (hoping) that I would get into neither.

I got into both.

The first is the Northumberland Coastal Run (14 miles) and the second is the Great North Run (13 miles).

What are the chances?

So, as I've roped myself into this nonsense, I thought that I should at least make the most of it.

For anyone who doesn't know, we lost our gorgeous 8yr old nephew in 2013 and the Child Bereavement Service have provided unbelievable support since.

So, I've decided to raise money for these unsung heroes.

Please donate what you can - a jar full of coppers (not policemen obvs) to a jar full of notes (not the post it kind).

Thanks very much, and if i don't collapse and get stretchered off half way round I promise to "selfie" the whole experience.  You lucky things.
