Men's Walk 2022
Campaign by Hospiscare (RCN 297798)
A sponsored walk, a pint and a pasty can only mean one thing... Hospiscares Mens Walk is back for 2022! Hospiscare is a local charity, providing expert palliative and end-of-life care to people across Exeter, Mid and East Devon.

Story

On 12 March 2022, I'll be taking part in Men's Walk for Hospiscare. This means stepping up and completing an 8-mile sponsored walk, all to raise vital funds for my local hospice. (Adhering to all Government guidelines, don't worry!) Hospiscare is a local charity that cares for terminally ill patients and their families across Exeter, Mid and East Devon. Their teams of doctors, nurses and therapists offer specialist palliative care, to ensure patients can make the most of the time they have left. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Hospiscare is currently facing a £1 million funding deficit. Sadly, if the shortfall continues, they will have no choice but to close beds on their ward and reduce the weekend services they offer in patients homes. The past couple of years have been challenging for everyone, but its so important to protect this vital local charity. Please help me make sure Hospiscare can be there for the community now and in the future by giving whatever you can. Thank you!
