I have always wanted to run the London Marathon, and I am lucky enough to have been offered the opportunity to do so this April. 

I am raising money for the Spring Centre - a brilliant charity based in Gloucester, which helps families in Gloucestershire who have children with disabilities and special needs. The Spring Centre offers support to both the children and young people themselves (who are anywhere between 0-30) and their parents. 

The money that I raise will be used by the Spring Centre to help build a new playground. It would be an amazing feeling to cross the finish line (fingers crossed...) knowing that I've helped improved the lives of children in my home town, even if only in a small way.
